The adventure begins tomorrow, at 5:30 in the evening, when our plane departs Cleveland Hopkins international airport, traveling into the vast, uncharted, and reportedly quite barbaric regions of continental Europe!
We'll be wandering the Netherlands for a few days, and then it's off into the wilderness on the infamous railways. We'll be visiting the ancient lands of Greece and Rome, traversing the tempestuous Adriatic Sea, tracing Hannibal's famous route across the Alps (without elephants this time, alas) through Switzerland, and battling hordes of baguette-wielding savages from Provence to Paris before returning, covered in the laurels of our victories, to the glory of Rotterdam.
